Dolcetto varietal is farmed throughout the southern part of Piedmont, from the hills closest to the Alps to the Po plains.
Brich dij Luijs Dolcetto, a higher quality selection, is generally appreciated by all as its peculiar position allows the wine to achieve its full potential.
Bright ruby red colour. Intense grapey aroma with hints of black cherry and berries. Well balanced dry taste with a pleasant suite of tannins and a long fruity finish.
Brich dij Luijs Dolcetto is excellent when paired with traditional first courses with meat such as tajarin al ragù. It also pairs well with strong-flavoured cold cuts such as prosciutto crudo, second courses such as roasted pork loin, stewed or cacciatore white meat. Perfect to be served with medium ripening cheese such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Castelmagno.
Brich dij Luijs:
