Arneis varietal is farmed throughout a wide area in the south of Piedmont, particularly in the Roero and Langhe areas and it is one of the most well-known white wines of Piedmont. It grows best facing south, south-east as when harvested grapes must be healthy and evenly ripe.
Bright straw-yellow colour, intense, floral and fruity aroma. Firm, dry taste with a long finish.
Langhe Arneis is excellent with aperitivo and vegetable appetizers, pies, salads, first courses with white ragù, delicate risottos with cheese, ratatouille or second courses such as grilled white meat.
Sotto il Paese and Ai Micca
Sotto il paese vineyard is located on the side of the hill of Mango village, thus its name, literally: under the village. From this south-facing position we are able to obtain a good aroma and a high sugar content.
Ai Micca is a west-facing vineyard that gives the product persistence and intensity.
