The Favorita grape varietal belongs to the Vermentino family. This varietal is mostly farmed in Liguria and Sardinia, while in Piedmont it is a relatively unknown local production. It is almost exclusively farmed in the Roero area and in some municipalities in the neighbouring Langhe. It grows best in sunny and airy locations because of its delicate nature.
Light straw-yellow colour and fine beading, delicate aroma with strong hints of flowers and fruit. Lively, fresh and dry taste.
Favorita is suitable for aperitivo and toasts. It is best when paired with vegetable appetizers, pies, pasta salads, baked seafood or first courses with vegetable sauce.
Ai Martìn.
Ai Martìn vineyard is located in the municipality of Mango and can only be reached through a rough country road. Every process is carried out by hand as the field is too steep to reach even for all-terrain vehicles.
