Nebbiolo is one of the trademark varietals of Piedmont, as it is the varietal that produces the great Barolo and Barbaresco.
Ruby red colour with brick red nuances. Intense aroma with ripened fruit and spices hints. Full, well-balanced taste with a strong suite of tannins and a strong finish.
Barolo is excellent with first courses with meat, bushmeat or cheese such as risotto al taleggio. It pairs well also with strong-flavoured cold cuts, roast beef or aromatic stew. Perfect also with hard cheese such as Bra duro or Parmigiano Reggiano.
Its south-facing position grants good sun exposure and protection from cold winds. The soil gives this wine structure and longevity with aromas evolving in time.
